Irish Horse, you have nailed it. I would be wrong to complain. She was trained by Germany's top horse photographer Gabrielle Boiselle, and they seek out light and nature and composition and I'm all about that, but since I spend so much time looking at Arabian show magazines, I want images that shows conformation/profile. I told her that yesterday, and she did her best, and I'm delighted with what I got.

Those are wonderful photos. As a photographer, I can relate to not wanting the quality of my photos reduced for for Internet use, but sometimes the advertising value is worth it. I've been burned so many times by people using my photos and not giving me credit. One time someone actually gave a different photographer credit for one of my photos.
Wow! They're both great! I think I prefer the side picture, only because of the foreshortening of straight-on, though this one is very striking.
I agree with Irish about preferring not to crop out parts of the horse...unless your focus is on some particular feature, such as the eye, or a rippling set of muscles or something.
I love them both, but the top one is my favorite shows more of how I imagine his personality to be :)
I have to say....my husband and I have the same favorite, but he thinks it, and the first photo shown here, is a Donald Trump photo. *SHRUG"

They are both beautiful, but I'm partial to the first one. He is such a gorgeous boy!
Wow!!! Those are incredible! He is gorgeous!! I would pay to have her take photos of my horse just based off those two pictures if she was in this country.
