I'm Lytha from West Seattle, Washington. I moved to NRW, Germany in 2007 and married a wonderful German man who understands my love of horses and fulfilled my dream of living the last 2/3 of my life in the country, with my horse in my backyard.
Drove from So Cal back home to KY two years ago, and there was NO mistaking that arch driving through St. Louis. So very cool from all angles, and very easy to see while on the freeway. Looking forward to more pix. Were you able to go up there??
When I was 13, my dad and I piloted a single engine Piper Comanche from L.A. to the east coast. Our third night was spent in St. Louis, and the next morning as we rose above the low clouds, the arch was clearly visible. It seemed to want us to fly under it, through the gap!
JenK, we only did the simulation below cuz it takes 3 plus days to get tickets. But the simulation is pretty great! We had quite the trouble at security (it is a NATIONAL monument!) cuz J had his geocaching gear on him.
EvenSOng, OMG how many people have done it!? Just like how many people jump off the Space Needle!?
