Horses don't like people (Scrubs)

I'm watching a few epidoes of Scrubs. We own the whole thing but I'd never seen it *since* working in a hospital. Much more enjoyable now! (Though less realistic than shows that focus on medical issues.)

Here is my favorite scene, of the horse-crazy intern:

Yes, I bribe mine to tolerate me on a regular basis with mints, carrots, and bananas.

I have watched Scrubs like crazy (Malcolm in the Middle and Scrubs are my go-to shows) and I have NO MEMORY of this scene! What?! What season is this from??

ND, keep up with the snacks. Your horses told me to tell you that.

Becky, I'm ashamed to say it's from the 9th season, which does not really mesh with the previous 8 (and the creator begged ABC to give that season another name, cuz there was a clear FINALE at season 8, with that amazing Peter Gabriel conclusion song). So, it's kind of like a spinoff with the same name, and only rare appearances of the characters we love. Turk is there though!

Malcolm in the Middle! Nothing better. I'm a huge They Might Be Giants fan. Since we like those, can you recommend more shows I might like? I'm kind of desperate lately. And if I could do the same for you, I'd recommend Third Rock from the Sun. It's my go-to for guaranteed ROTFLOL.

Love your avatar.

I finally thought of one.

Have you ever watched Avatar: The Last Airbender?

It's not really as funny as the other ones, but it's the same kind of visceral, no-thinking enjoyment.

I know it's a kids' cartoon, but the characters are EXCEEDINGLY well developed, the fight scenes are amazing, and the finale is one of the best episodes/movies. Ever.

The Uncle Iroh "Little Soldier Boy" song makes me cry, every time - it's like The Iron Giant or the first few minutes of Up. It's just plain good writing.
