It's scary to me but my man says we'll catch up.

I'm Lytha from West Seattle, Washington. I moved to NRW, Germany in 2007 and married a wonderful German man who understands my love of horses and fulfilled my dream of living the last 2/3 of my life in the country, with my horse in my backyard.

The old man is looking great!
ah reddunappy, wait til you see the birthday photos from yesterday! i mean, after i edit them to make myself look better. or cut myself out entirely.
...working....
Is it because you had more snow and a longer winter this year? I know my pasture isn't anywhere near ready for the horses. It's finally starting to turn green just this week.
Baasha looks so much better--not only fatter. Calmer. Happier!
The grass...argh. Ours is doing the same thing. Really not growing much yet. WTH? Even the part that's been fenced away from the horses isn't growing much. Not sure why, but the neighbor thinks that the winter weather vacillating between freezing and warmish/sunny-ish has delayed the grass.
Everything is delayed--I finally have leaves on the grapevines today. Late!
He looks great - and he doesn't care at all how things look!
What a difference and what a fat and happy boy.
Baasha looks so much better now than last year. Don't worry, the grass will grow soon enough.
Baasha is looking mighty happy out there! We're struggling here, too, with spring pasture. Recent rains have created a great deal of sloshing at the neighbor's place where my boys go for grazing. Hoping for some spring sunshine soon!
Wow! What a huge difference! Baasha has also gotten whiter, too. And he has really filled out. He looks in great shape...and very content!
Can we have some of your green grass, though? Ours got snowed on yesterday and looks a little peaked.
