The geese have turned around

....and now they're heading south again.

I opened my bedroom window Saturday morning and yelled "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!"

I was just getting used to seeing the grass again.

I have already planted in my greenhouse.

I had put away the snow shovel.

8 inches had to be shovelled away so we could get to the barn.

I went over to the neighbors cuz I wanted a picture of our house in snow from that perspective up on the hill.

It looks pleasant out, but as soon as you go out there, the icy wind rips right through your coat and blows snow from the rooftops down your shirt. It is nasty and miserable.

The blue sky does not fool me, and Baasha has to wear two blankets at night, because it's -7.

Very pretty, but I know what you mean. Although we haven't had nearly the snow you have, we've had it in the form of rain. The end result is the same: MUD. I'm grateful for the rain for the sake of the grass, but I'm tired of the mud that never seems to dry out.

7? BRRR!

Rats! It's MARCH! Someone call scheduling.

Hope you are back in... mud and grass soon.

But in the meantime, we'll enjoy the lovely photos

Soooo sorry, you know how I hate the stuff and you know I'm sorry for you! The pictures are pretty...

Do you want me to send you a box of mud, so you can throw it around outside your door and track it into the house like you would if you were here?

Every day I check the weather in Berlin - knowing it's pretty close to what you experience. I saw the change and felt so bad for you. Maybe it will go quickly! Love, Mom

So you left rainy Seattle because you love snow? Ha
I guess you will never do any snow dances again!

Oh I am so sorry to hear you've had more of the blasted stuff, you know I hated it too. Non horsey people think we're mad. Surely it's got to warm up soon??

Uh-oh, guess what's in OUR weather forecast for tomorrow morning?

Starts with "S". Ends with "dangit"!

Bleh! Snow! My body is screaming for Spring, as I know yours is. It just seems that it should be here already. Snow seems so wrong!

Sure is pretty, though. But I don't want any. Come back geese!

Hang in there Baasha!

It's absolutely gorgeous though!
We had a thundersnow last night. Thunder and lightning and then snow on the ground this morning. Will it ever go away?
