We all know the scenes where Patrick Stewart and William Shatner rode horses in the movie Generations (Shatner on his champion Saddlebred mare and Stewart on some ...who knows what horse).
I will never forget the moment Patrick Stewart rode an Arabian horse on Star Trek Next Gen - when he programmed the holodeck for such a horse, and my boyfriend at the time said, "This is where she loses it." Cuz my two passions in life collided.
The last few days have been tearful for me, we learn to live in a world without Sir Patrick Stewart.
I went to a convention in Seattle where he spoke and answered questions and I can tell you he is unequivocally Picard. Pure humility.
Please enjoy these scense of him riding Ventura Farm's Arabian horses. I had a poster in my bedroom of him on that horse, it was not a stunt double, unless people used photoshop for such things in the 90s. Skip to minute 2:30....
