Missing this today:

It's 31C in the shade, and so humid we just experienced a thunderstorm without rain.

It's unbearable.

This would be nice; I swear right now I'd drop and do face-first Snow Angels:

In this video you can see the results of our last order of wood chips for the path from our property to the pasture. We put them down last Summer, when the rains returned. It has held up amazingly, even though we dumped chips on sloppy, goopy, black mud, and had no alternative. It turns out, if you get high quality chips (like the Parks Dept. uses for Playgrounds), they might endure an entire season or three of rain/snow.

J wants to get some more and I'm tempted to just wait and see how long they hold up to Mag galloping madly through the path, ripping it up.

But I cannot say no to more footing. They cost us 450Euros per trailer load, just enough to coat the path, which is about 20 meters long.

Next up: a Summer storm reminiscent of Florida.

Really...I dream of snow.

So understand, it's supposed to be spring & we hit the mid 90's today. Poor minis they tend to hold onto their coats longer. Gave them both a cold shower. They'd been hiding in the barn all day hiding from the heat.
