I had a friend named Larry who was in the all-men endurance team Men in Tights.
Aarene has a friend in this team too and if he'd like me to take these photos down I will. But the shirts were so cool, I just had to share. And that exhausted sitting on the grass in front of the trailer is something we can relate to.
UPDATE: Sorry I was not clear - this is not Larry, and it's not Khari, it's their wonderful Jas.

Is that Larry in the photo? It looks like Butch Hoge....! (and the grey horse looks like Khari, not that I can tell grey horses apart except for Baasha and Isaac and Sinatra).
I think Dick Borton was on that team also, and some of the other Fish Men. It was before Jim's time, but he will sing the song for you if you like. >g<

Now I've found your post! Yes! It's Butch & Jas! How incredible that you found these photos after all these years! We were camped next to Ed & Liz Dale, Ed passed away two-years ago now. We lost Jas in 09 at age 21...

Those photos were from the Alpine Endurance ride, 2002. Butch rode Dory Jackson's horse "FT" in the 50 - finishing 5th! It was an honest tired! Jas & I finished 3rd!
