The nice lady sent me two more photos after I emailed her to tell her I was not interested in Primus. She wrote that she hopes I don't get sick from that soaking wet ride (no, but it took me 6 hours to get warm again). She said, "I could see from your visit that my stallion Orayan was more your type. He's such a sweetheart. Therefore I knew you were not interested in Primus, but I appreciate very much that you wrote to tell me - that isn't always the case with buyers.
She said she wishes me the best in my search for our new family member and if I feel like it, we can go for anotherride when the weather is better.
See what I mean about this lady?
The lady and her daughter on Orayan and Primus in her driveway (I had a heck of a time maneuvering a Prius around that driveway). You can see Orayan's pigmentation problem in this photo. I sent her some links that mention certain supplemental minerals that might help (it's worth a shot, she's using lots of sunscreen now).
Orayan. (Sweet horse but kid still needs helmet.) Oh, I forgot to mention that Orayan has a bump on his foreleg and she told me that is an old fracture from a horse kicking him. I'm so glad her wonderful horse recovered from a broken leg!
Oh, and I wrote Al-Najma today telling them I met and rode one of their Ovid babies.
I sincerely hope to keep in touch with this Arabian farm because although they had 40 grey horses, we shared a lot of horsekeeping ideals, including natural outdoor living, stallions and all.

P.S. I wrote two blog entries today so if you're interested in sheep...

What a kind lady! What beautiful horses... and I can see why Orayan is more what you want (except the color!!) - he sure seems laid back!
What a lovely lady, isn't it great to meet people like this that are so kind and helpful even after you advise them that their horse (or other object or item) won't work for you? Good for you both!
Hey girl
I'd love to do the care package thing. I want chocolate and travel bugs. What do you want?
Barb
Isn't it wonderful when people are nice?
Orayan sure is a handsome boy. Too bad he's gray!
Barb! I have to think of what I want but you're asking at the right time - the christmas items are out now. Do you like German gingerbread and marzipan?
I hope to be asking you for an Arabian sized halter but I don't have a horse for it yet.
That lady sounds really great. :) I'm glad he healed from his fracture too. He seems like a really great horse. So cool she invited you back for another ride.
Hi! I have an award for you over at my blog. Please don't feel like you have to redo if you already got this award - I was late getting to it!
