***Random July Stuff***
This is our newly hired gardener's tractor with trailer for his mower/weed whacker. I must say that the first time he mowed our front lawn I freaked out cuz it looked terrible. He cut it so short it was completely brown. Hopefully he'll train it down to where it is green at that level. I used to have a pretty green lawn but right now it looks like crap. However, our hang is like a golf course. He mowed the horse area just as short and for some reason that turned out beautifully, like a carpet. Also he did our pond area and wild hang with the trees and now we can easily walk around (the grass was knee high). I am happy that I can focus on all the other gardening tasks now that this major one is taken care of. I just found out the gardener (who I call Samwise) lives at that riding stable I took lessons at last year. There are apartments above the stalls.

One of the vets left behind the tetanus bottle. The list of medicines that have been administered to my animals this week is so long I'm gonna need a new recordkeeping book soon.
My new Swatch. Can you see what the design is? (The background is a photo of a horse eating money, hehe.)
We have a VERY good kitty! (She doesn't eat these, which is probably good.)
Weird light effect. I still don't understand why light makes circles.
Here's my man dressed as a cop for a role-playing party we went to a while back. I added "Jawohl!" to every answer I gave him that night: ) Although the shirt is the current one, the hat is from about 30 years ago. It has our next door neighbor's name in it from when he started his career.

Nice pictures. I love the picture of the horse eating money. The old joke is: "You know how you make a million dollars by owning a horse? Start with three million."

Soooooo glad that Baasha is doing better! We will keep him (and the rest of y'all) in our best thoughts, as always.
Can I borrow Mercer, please? There was a RAT in the chicken feed this morning. I screamed like a girl.
So glad Baasha is beeling better.
OMG, Lytha, I'm so sorry I haven't been keeping up! Poor Baasha. I would want to napalm those wasps. I am so thankful that his eye is improving!
Your watch looks like the Eye of Sauron to me. And as long as the moles are thoroughly dead, she's a great cat! Love the police hat :)
You have had a rough time this week, with your new job and all of the animal things going on. I hope this week is better for everyone!
