I'm crazy but not this crazy

...or am I?

Whoever ordered this thing, you'd better have a black/white bridle/breastcollar to match! *peer*

Whoever you are, you're braver than I. *bows*

It would look really snazzy on Mag! It also looks comfortable. :)

White leather saddle, hmmm? What could possible go wrong with this?

*lol* I admit, my white bridle sees my sink a lot more often than my black one. If it were leather, though, I'd be at a loss. How on earth would you clean (oil?) white leather!!!??? Every time I'd mount my horse, I'd leave a brown smudge at the pommel. And when the sweat runs down my back and pools below me, well... And what about a tampon malfunction? Sorry for that. Today I found a smashed horsefly under my butt on my saddle. That would definitely leave a red mark on white.

I love my Specialized Saddle so much (and it feels good when others compliment how comfortable it is). I'm not looking to upgrade to their Ultralight model (only 9 pounds!) but I think I would like a new seat - my suede looks faded and dirty. How do you clean suede? Apparently they have a fleece seat now, which to me sounds lower maintenance than wool. Hm....

White?! No way! I loved my original Specialized, but the later versions didn't compare. I haven't seen on of their newest generations.

You could clean it with white shoe (leather) polish.

But I'd rather be riding!

What size seat does your saddle have? I have a black 16" seat (smooth leather, not suede) you could have if it fits. I bought a purple one for myself!

ha! I know who ordered that saddle! She is a friend here in the area, will use it on her stunning black arabs. Not sure about the rest of her tack colors, but she always looks great (whereas I always look disheveled even before I start riding!), so if anyone can keep it clean, she can!
