I was so excited to see Zilco finally make a bridle with stainless steel hardware, I had to have it. I asked you guys if you'd seen the bridle at rides, how it looks in real life. I ordered the matching reins, wanting the woven ones but ended up being sold the rubber grip ones (that I normally hate) that I've adapted to (they're pretty short - see below).
Yesterday I saw my bridle on another horse in my online perusal of FEI endurance rides. It looks so great on this grey horse, because it has such a nice black trim (padding actually). Dangit, I think it looks better on this horse than mine. Maybe I need a grey horse.

I like the look of it on the grey horse to...the black padding makes it pop...
Someday maybe I will have some disposable income, haha, and order a bridle...but first, I want to order another Quillin, halter and lead....:)

That does look good on a gray horse. I like it on Mara too though. I'm normally not a fan of white gear, but I always liked yours on Mara. :)
I hope she's doing okay. Update when you can please. You all are in my thoughts.
Zilco, bah. White, bah. Grey horses, bah! FEI, bah!
How about a nice PURPLE beta biothane?
(although, yeah, purple isn't the best color on bright chestnut horses either! At least I didn't suggest bright pink and bright orange!)
I used Zilco tack on most of my trail horses back when I had a riding business. It was much easier than leather to care for. Each horse had its own colour of tack too, so that the right gear got put on even when grooms were in a hurry. (Not such an issue with just one horse nowadays!)Purple went surprisingly well on a black horse, so did silver, and yellow was good on a chesnut. Stainless fittings would look better than brass, which tended to pick up green copper residue.
"Not currently suspended" - hahahahaha
