I'm Lytha from West Seattle, Washington. I moved to NRW, Germany in 2007 and married a wonderful German man who understands my love of horses and fulfilled my dream of living the last 2/3 of my life in the country, with my horse in my backyard.
For some reason, the photos don't show up for me, when I click on one, I get this message - Request denied. The resource you requested requires authorization.
Sounds like you had a great trip home, Were Basha and Bellis glad to see you? You were missed by all!
That is sad about Amja, were you able to find out anymore information about her ailment? Hope she is ok.
ACCESS DENIED to photos -- we are on it! i'm trying to use a couple of alternatives to paying blogger for photos. i'm using my husband's (paid) web.de service, they offer photo album storage. apparently they object to being a photo upload repository, because there is no way for people to clearly see what service we used. or whatever. my man spent good time on the phone with them yesterday (customer service/tech support calls are not free in germany) because he pays monthly for web.de. they gave him the runaround and solved nothing yet.
we also can use an ftp server but it's tricky, but if i have to, i will. i really don't want to pay google when we already pay for other servers.

What are your impressions? The horse reminds me of Baasha. Based on its expressions in the pictures, it seems easygoing.

Can you not use something like Photobucket over there?
