My dad has a new tractor and he said I could drive it. I've always wanted to drive a tractor so I'm glad I got pictures!
He lives on the peninsula of Washington state, a place we reach by ferry from Seattle and it's refreshingly rural immediately upon landing. He drove us around geocaching on beaches and we had a nice tour of a saltwater marsh on Hood Canal.

Besides looking forward to Mexican food, I really wanted a good steak, something that does not exist in Germany that I know of. So both my dad and my stepdad put steaks on the grill for us and they were so wonderful! They were too big to finish so we ate leftovers for breakfast. My unconventional breakfasts reached new levels this trip. More later..

A tractor! I daydream of the day we get one.... I go back and forth over which brand, but, in any case, its abilities are all the same in the end.
Steak sounds good, I am craving a good tri-tip though...

I think the picture of you and your dad is fabulous!
What a beautiful place!
I too like the pic of you and your dad. Hmm tractor driving looks fun.
Such great fun!!!
I have never been up to the sound to play. Puyallup and Seattle a few times. Rode the ferry once from Bremerton to Seattle, that was fun!
Aren't driving tractors fun? That one is just like the one we borrowed from our neighbor last year, but have since gotten a brand new one for ourselves!
I grew up in Poulsbo, I am sure you have heard of it since you lived in Washington. I have also lived in Forks and Quilcene. I have spent a lot of time on the peninsula. Absolutely love it!
So cool you got to drive the tractor!! I still haven't driven one alone (just from the safety of my my husband's lap lol). :)
