I've never stared so intently at buds on trees wishing them to become leaves. The first leaf I see I'm throwing a party.I thought I'd look at some photos of last Spring for something to look forward to. I've already got some sprouts on my windowsill planter, but I thought some color would help.
Rather than the flower pictures cheering me up - and the apple blossoms came close - these are the ones that really got to me.
The month is May.

It's warm and it's spring here in lower middle Tennessee right now. Remember that when it's August and I'm complaining that its 96 very humid degrees !
Yes! GREEN! (she says as she looks out the window at the NEW snow we got yesterday!) Spring can't come too soon!

Ah, yes, green on the ground - I remember that from what seems like very long ago. It will be nice when it happens again.

I saw robins in the yard yesterday morning and did a little happy dance. The neighbors must think I'm nuts.
