The other day I looked out the window and saw this scene, so I grabbed a carrot and the camera and snuck out there very quietly.
"Don't get up, here's a carrot."
"Mmmmmm now my tongue tastes good."
"Any more?"
"Maybe I should get up."
"Head too heavy."
"Mmmmmmmmm, cool refreshing snow."
I had to get a vid of him licking the snow.
I also got one of him drifting off to sleep, so cute! This was after he decided to get up, changed his mind, and dozed off again.
The next day it dumped more snow on us. So much so that driving was dangerous again.
I've pretty much given up hope that this Winter will end. Here is my man at my blogging station during the latest snowfall.

Goodness, my horses would never lay down in the snow like that. They roll, but they soon get up again. Isn't he beautiful? He's obviously found a patch of sunlight to snooze in. Will show hubby later, too.
Autumn Mist, I was surprised too. I'm just happy he is so relaxed and comfortable enough to do it, esp. when I'm standing there with the "evil camera" filming!
When will it end?
Will it?
Oh Baasha...too cute. Wa mare lays down and snoozes every chance she gets...he is cute in the snow.
Sorry it is lasting so blame long!
Still sending warming thoughts your way!!! Dream of riding far girlfriend!

I love when they stick their tongues out. Great pictures
Baasha is just so cute. He looks comfortable and contented.
omg THAT IS SOOOOO CUTE!!!!!
Aaaww what a cutie he is! All the snow is gone here! whoo hoo..there was actual sun today. We headed out to take a drive and then for a walk. It felt good to be in the sun for awhile!
I'm giving up on winter ever being over, too. We just keep getting snow and more snow, with hardly any breaks in between. It's snowing right now and is supposed to all weekend! bleh!
I like your blogging station. It looks quiet and peaceful.
The videos were great! I watched the one of Baasha falling asleep, 3times. Too stinkin' cute! Does he ever let you lay beside him? I've yet to have a horse that will allow me to do that. I think it takes a very trusting horse, and obviously Baasha totally trusts you.
The sounds of the birds and the sight of sunshine in your videos gave the false impression of a warm spring day. Bleh! Winter go away!

Oh! Just went back and watched the licking video as it wouldn't load the first time. Looks like adorable Baasha is licking a snowcone. Maybe you should pour on some apple juice for him. hehe!
