Flying Lily posted a great pic of her TB's front feet, and suggested we post feet pics. Good idea! I'll be second. Stripey hooves are the new thing, like all the women who paint blond stripes into their hair. Montana and Baasha are very fashion conscious, and never get their feet muddy - that would hide their stripes.
I got my first hoof knife this week, and whew, it really gets into the frog in comparison to scissors! My barefoot trim instructor will come out next Sunday for teaching visit #2. I hope she says good things about my work these last 3 months. This is a whole new world for me, and I'm really getting into it. Good tools really help.

Being a proper Appy, my Poco has striped hooves. More power to you for trying to do their feet yourself. I know my back would NOT like it one bit.

I love the picture that you made in your last post, and I totally saw Baasha's ears pointing the way!! (How could I not when they look just like Bo's??)
Let Baasha know that he has very trendy hooves, and I should know...I have blonde streaks placed in my hair during the winter months...lol!!!
now i want blond streaks in my hair. but i've never seen anyone with red hair like mine, and blond streaks. oh well, the summer sun will bleach it all out anyway as it wishes.
I have red hair and I get blond streaks put in it all the time! It looks pretty neat. I don't have carroty red hair--not sure that it would look good with the really bright reds. Mine is actually a color people are always asking if I get out of a bottle!!! Probably the only feature I truly like! No gray yet, but my blond streaks have grown out! :(
