Daunting horse wormers

I just called the vet but he wasn't in, so I spoke to the assistant. I asked if I could place an order (Don't laugh! I have no idea how this works!). She said, "Why yes, I can take an order for you!" and I said, "OK I need Fenbendazole for my horse who recently arrived from America. I need a 5-day dose of it. What we call a Panacur Power Pack, if that's common here, I don't know." She said, "Oh boy, I dunno. That sounds daunting*. Can you talk to the vet when he gets back?" (* - I had to look up the word she used for "daunting" in the dictionary later.)

To be continued....

UPDATE!

I called back (trembling - I'm not good on the phone here!) and the vet was quite nice. I told him what I wanted, he guessed who I was (the barn owner had told him about me), and he said he'll order it for me. I told him, "No need for you to come to us, I'll come to your office to get it." Hm. I think I just broke etiquette. Oh well. He didn't refuse. He was in a super hurry and I had to tell him, "A little slower please" so I could understand him. Just one more person who doesn't have that "talking to foreigners" skill. Makes me thankful for those who have it! Hm. Thankful. Wasn't there something about "thankful" today? Seems very distant....huh. Probably nothing.

5 day dose of feed-thru Fenbendazole, erledigt: ) Woo for me!
